A Day for iWork

After tiring of hearing my own voice while using Garage Band to practice storytelling, I decided it was time to finish the Hobby Horse Newsletter and show notes. This was reason enough to demo iWorks. iWorks is made up of two applications, Pages and Keynote. For this task I needed Pages, a document creation and editing application, sort of like a combination of Word and Excel. It took a little getting used to, as it does not edit documents like Word does, but it was intuitive and didn’t take me long with which to get up to speed. Would you like to read the newsletter?

Many thanks to Katherine for the drawing above, that I wanted to include in the newsletter, but I really look forward to using it on Celtic.Org to illustrate a story I am working on about the Hobby Horse.

I’ll keep fooling with this demo of iWorks, but it looks like I’ll be buying a license to use this product.
